Sherry Morrissette D.C., D.A.C.N.B, B.C.N.

Completing her undergraduate studies at California State University of Fullerton, Dr. Sherry Morrissette received her doctorate of Chiropractic from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1992. She went on to study functional neurology with the Carrick Institute and received her diplomate from the American Chiropractic Neurology Board where she attends regular seminars.

After obtaining her credentials, she pursued a specialization in pediatric chiropractic through Palmer College (Davenport Iowa) in 1997. Dr. Morrissette is a native of Cumberland, Rhode Island and is licensed to practice in Rhode Island, Connecticut, Massachusetts and California. She is currently a member of the American Chiropractic Association, Rhode Island Chiropractic society as well as being the only females in Rhode Island nationally certified for using a non-surgical spinal decompression table, which is a technology to rid patients of disc pain, leg pain and associated muscle spasms. Dr. Morrissette has been helping patients lose weight through nutrition, supplementation and red light Lipo-Laser. In 2016, she became board certified and internationally certified in neurofeedback and has become the leading expert in Rhode Island.

For 30 years, Dr. Morrissette has been affecting her patient’s nervous system using a whole-body approach, treating both acute and chronic symptoms of the nervous system. Utilizing QEEG’s, X-rays, MRI’s, blood labs, urinalysis and many other tests to determine the underlying cause of the patient’s symptoms. She helps many patients with peripheral neuropathy, disc problems, leg pain, chronic pain conditions, memory problems, balance issues, trouble sleeping, and symptoms associated with ADHD and anxiety. Throughout the years she has obtained several certifications in the new cutting-edge technologies and has implemented them into her practice. These certifications include shockwave, low-level cold laser (class III b), red light therapy, PEMF (Pulse and Bemer), oxygen therapy, food sensitivity testing, supplementation, detoxification programs, neurofeedback and more.

Prior to opening her clinic in 2001, the Chiropractic Neurology Center of West Greenwich, Dr. Morrissette practiced in Huntington Beach, California and continued on to a family clinic in Norwich Connecticut for seven years. She currently resides in Charlestown RI with her husband, a chiropractic neurologist in Westerly, RI.

Dr. Jacob Moran D.C.

Dr. Moran was born and raised in Rhode Island. He attended the University of Rhode Island where he received his Bachelor's of Science degree in Pre-Med Kinesiology. After graduating from URI, he decided to further his education in health care by pursuing a four year Doctorate of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from the University of Bridgeport School of Chiropractic.

Dr. Moran strives to provide his patients with safe, gentle, and effective care using the most up to date and cutting edge technologies. When caring for patients, he takes a whole person approach. Rather than treating the symptoms, he gets to the root of the problem to optimize health and well-being. Throughout his studies, Dr. Moran has mastered many manual adjusting techniques to provide his patients with expert care.

Dr. Moran is one of the youngest doctors in America to be nationally certified in non-surgical spinal decompression by The International Medical Advisory Board on Spinal Decompression and to be nationally certified in peripheral neuropathy treatment by The International Medical Advisory Board on Peripheral Neuropathy. Dr. Moran specializes in care for patients suffering from both cervical and lumbar disc herniations, spinal stenosis, degenerative changes to the disc and vertebrae, post-surgical pain syndrome, and peripheral neuropathy. Dr. Moran is a member of Disc Centers of America, The International Disc Education Association, and The International Neuropathy Association.

Dr. Moran is an expert in and certified in numerous advanced therapies such as Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy, Pulse Electromagnetic Field therapy (Pulse and Bemer PEMF), red light therapy, low-level cold laser therapy (class III b and IV), invisaRED lipo laser, and more. Dr. Moran is a certified clinical provider in Neurofeedback and helps patients with symptoms associated with ADHD, ADD, anxiety, depression, memory issues, and more. Dr. Moran is passionate about pediatric, perinatal, and maternal health. He is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). He is both Webster Technique Certified and Perinatal Certified by the ICPA and is the only Perinatal Certified Chiropractor in Rhode Island. Dr. Moran is also a candidate for the Certification by the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics (CACCP).

When Dr. Moran isn't in the office, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Ella, their daughter, Ivy, their husky, Luna, and their Bengal cat, Nova. As a family, they love exploring the outdoors through long hikes, camping trips, paddleboarding, snowboarding, and surfing. Whether in the mountains or by the ocean, they strive to spend as much time outside as possible. Dr. Moran and his family currently reside in Wakefield, Rhode Island.

SPINAL DECOMPRESSION
"Spinal decompression has been a life saver for me. I had been suffering with back and sciatic pain for a year before Dr. Morrissette was able to convince me to try it. After all the treatments, I can say I am so much better! The sciatic pain is gone and I just have low back pain occasionally now. If I have a flare up, I have a treatment and it subsides.
